• How do I enter for an Award?

  There are 2 stages of entry to the E-Learning Awards:

   

  1. Register your entry by completing the entry form.  The cost of entry is £99 plus VAT per entry.  The deadline for entries is 30 June 2010 .  All entry fees are non refundable regardless of whether a final submission is made.
  2. Make your submission.  There is no form to complete but you are strongly advised to read the notes below.  Once your submission is ready simply email it to us.  The deadline for submissions is 30 July 2010 .

  
  You can make as many registrations in as many categories as you like.  Each individual entry costs £99 plus VAT and all entry fees are non refundable. 
  
  Please ensure you have read the terms and conditions below before registering your entry.  By registering an entry into the E-Learning Awards you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.

• How do I make a submission?

  There is no submission form to complete, however the judges have issued some guidelines and you should refer to the criteria for the category throughout.   
  

  Your submission should be no longer than 3000 words and should clearly set out how your entry meet the criteria for the selected category.   
  
  It is essential that we receive your submission in electronic format so that we can pass it to the judges.  Therefore please email your submission to us.  
  
  You should also ensure that you include all your contact details (and those of your client where appropriate) so we can easily contact you.
  
  The deadline for submissions is 30 July 2010.
  

• What is the cost of entry?

  Each entry costs £99 plus VAT.  You can enter in as many categories as you wish.

• Can I enter into multiple Awards categories?

  Yes.  Each entry costs £99 plus VAT.

• When is the deadline for entries?

  The deadline for entries is 5pm BST on 30 June 2010. 
  
  The deadline for submissions is 5pm BST on 30 July 2010. 

• Can non UK organisations enter?

  Yes.  The E-Learning Awards is open to everyone.

• What Awards are offered?

  There are 16 Awards.  Click here to find out more about the categories and criteria.
  
  The judges often make awards of gold, silver and bronze.  In 2009 35 awards were given out over 14 categories.

• Are any of the categories new?

  There is 1 new category this year which is Best use of social media for learning.

• When is the shortlist announced?

  The shortlist will be announed in September.  If your organisation has been shortlisted we will contact you direct as soon as possible and certainly in good time to arrange for presentations.
  
  We will publish the shortlist on our website and also in the September and October editions of e.learning age.
  
  

• When will the presentations take place?

  If your organisation is shortlisted and has entered a category that requires a short personal presentation to the judges, these will take place in September or October 2010.  We will contact you direct with your allotted date and time.
  
  If you cannot present in person, it may be possible to arrange a virtual presentation.  This must be arranged and agreed with the organisers and judges beforehand and must take place within the allotted judging days.  Please contact us for further information once your entry is shortlisted

• Who selects the winners?

  The judges are selected by the eLearning Network and all categories are judged rigorously and independently.

• When are the winners announced?

  The winners are announced on Thursday 11 November 2010 during the Awards evening at a 5 star venue in Central London. 
  
  The shortlist will be announced in September 2010.

• How can I book a place at the Awards Ceremony?

  You can book tables of 10 or individual seats at the Awards Ceremony on 11 November 2010.

  Tables and tickets have sold out very quickly in previous years so be sure to book your space as soon as possible.

• Is there a dress code at the Awards ceremony?

  Yes.  The evening is a black tie event.

• What is the format of the Awards ceremony?

  The evening will begin with a Champagne Reception, followed by a sumptuous 3 course meal.  The Awards ceremony will be staged after dinner and we anticipate the ceremony will conclude at 11.00 pm.
  
  Afterwards a casino and disco will be available until 1.00 am and the bar will be open until 2.00 am.
  
  

• Who organises the E-Learning Awards?

  The E-Learning Awards are organised and presented by e.learning age.  The judges are invited and co-ordinated by the eLearning Network.

• When were the E-Learning Awards introduced?

  The E-Learning Awards were introduced in 2005 and have more than trebled in size.
